The Role:

As an AVP, you will be a critical “hunter” responsible for driving the adoption and sales of two new, innovative healthcare insight platforms directly into pharmaceutical and biotech organizations. Your primary focus will be on new logo acquisition and strategically penetrating key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, identify, and close new business opportunities within pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
  • Effectively articulate the value proposition of both platforms to diverse stakeholders, including Commercial Pharma (product managers, market research teams, and marketing leaders).
  • Navigate complex sales cycles, breaking down organizational barriers within large pharma accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Provide market feedback to product development teams to inform future enhancements.

Platform Information:

  • Platform 1 (Oncology Focus):
  • Specific to oncology leaders and companies with an interest in qualitative and quantitative engagement.
  • Offers a live, interactive forum with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Driven by advanced AI and analytics to synthesize data, track insights over time, and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Enables clients to efficiently run sessions, focus groups, and advisory boards with enhanced analytical capabilities.

  • Spans all types of healthcare landscape leaders, including cardiologists, primary care physicians, and C-suite executives at hospital systems.

Candidate Expectations:

  • New Logo Acquisition: A verifiable track record of successfully bringing in new logos and growing revenue within new accounts.
  • Direct Pharma Sales: Demonstrated success in selling directly into pharmaceutical and biotech organizations. This is the biggest hurdle to overcome, and a proven ability here is paramount.
  • Platform/SaaS Sales: Experience in selling platform solutions or SaaS license agreements is highly desirable.
  • Industry Acumen: An understanding of the healthcare insights space and the needs of commercial decision-makers (product, market research, marketing) within pharma.
  • Hunter Mentality: A proactive, driven approach to identifying opportunities, initiating conversations, and closing deals.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to coherently and intelligently explain complex solutions and their value in initial client communications.
